Virtue, Liberty, Patriotism.

The Junior Order United American Mechanics National Orphan’s Home, known as the Jr. Home, was significant in American history as an example of self-contained residential institutions that flourished in latter 19th and early 20th century America. The Jr. Home was a place “associated with events that have made a significant contribution to the broad patterns of America’s history.”

"The Alumni Newsletter, The Junior Homekid, is the glue that holds the organization together and keeps the Alumni alive and vibrant..   Published are interesting letters, pictures, and articles (old and new) from Alumni and friends across the country; news of Alumni Homecomings and gatherings; reports from the Alumni President and the Ohio Memorial Church Repair Committee; and anything the Editor deems newsworthy to the majority.  In essence, it keeps all Alumni cognizant of how fortunate and blessed were they to have grown up at the beautiful Jr. Home and it keeps the Jr. Home Family in touch with one another."
