The Junior Order United American Mechanics National Orphan’s Home, known as the Jr. Home, was significant in American history as an example of self-contained residential institutions that flourished in latter 19th and early 20th century America. The Jr. Home was a place “associated with events that have made a significant contribution to the broad patterns of America’s history.”

70th Reunion of the Class of 1937
The Class of 1937 held it's 70th reunion at the 2007 Tiffin Homecoming.  It was the largest class to graduate from the Jr. Home High School with 62 members.  In attendance at the 70th reunion were Joe Bennett, Bea Stephens DeRose, Ila Gore Christoff, and Tom Christoff.

Nora Lee Barbee honored at Tiffin HC
Nora Lee Barbee was honored at the 2006 Tiffin Homecoming for her dedicated service to help keep our homekid family connected.  Since 1963, Nora Lee has been responsible for keeping all of the Homekid addresses, whereabouts, and paper subscription dues current.  She also made available printed mailing labels for every edition of the Jr. Homekid newspaper.
