| From jrhome.org In Memorium Burlington, N. C.-- Ann Sexton Rogers, 71, of 2803 Pinewood Trace, died Thursday, April 8th,2004. She was born in Fuquay Springs, N. C. to the late James Kyle and Lela Morris Sexton and was married to the late Roy Vance Rogers. She was of the Protestant faith and a member of St. Mark's Reformed Church. She is survived by her daughters, Judy Rogers Hopkins of Burlington and Donna Rogers of Woodstock, Va.and brothers Maurice Sexton of Lexington, Bob Sexton and Joe G. Sexton, both of Burlington, and Phil Sexton of Asheboro. A memorial service will be held at 2:00p. m. Saturday at Lowe Funeral Home Chapel by the Reverned Bob Bishop. The family will receive friends following the services. Memorials may be made to the Robert Bruton Memorial Scholarship Fund 1747 Wheeler Bridge Road, Burlington, N. C. 27215. Ann came to the home when she was five years old and after a short stay in the nursery, she was in cottage 13 until she was transferred to N. C. in January, 1940.
